She didn't say they were not busy
She said the positive cases seemed a bit inflated. More test negative then positive. She said she thinks in January they were dealing with something similar but they didn't know what it was and they thought it was just misdiagnosed flu.

So there is something to the theory that this has been circulating for sometime. Also during the Spanish Flu the reinfections (if this one can be reinfected) caused cytokine reactions in younger people with healthier immune systems, which is what is causing ARDS in many they think shouldnt be getting C19 or at least shouldn't be affected as badly.

She works in subburb hospital just east of NYC
