My opinion is you start seeing some restrictions loosened sometime between
May 11th and June 15th. That doesn't mean everything is opened back up, but you will start to see an reduction on the restrictions at that point. There's models that indicate the peak here in the US will sometime in mid-to-late April (so in about 1-3 weeks). Different areas of the nation will have different peaks, though. I think most states likely will have peaked by between late April and late May which is why I give the May 11th to June 15th dates (basically giving 2 weeks of downswing before we START to see some loosening of restrictions). Keep in mind things will still be limited at that point, just not quite to the same level they currently are. My opinion is it will probably be another 2-4 months after that before we see live sports again (which would mean sometime between July and October). I'm guessing the NBA season ends up getting cancelled. Best case scenario is probably skipping straight to a reduced-schedule playoffs like what's being proposed in Vegas. It's possible the NFL could be delayed as could college football, but it's also still very possible they could start on time. I doubt they cancel the football seasons entirely.
