I am sorry if I suggested we shouldn't debate. Because honestly the poverty and economic ruin is going to effect families for years to come. The amount of lost jobs, broken businesses, and money and opportunity lost by this shut down is extremely painful.

I don't believe that the CDC or WHO are lying about the seriousness of the disease, but I do think they can be quite short sighted as those working in the CDC and WHO know that (while they may be working overtime for free right now) their jobs and way of life is secure, where as the social distancing and other recommendations that have been passed on will destroy hundreds of thousands to millions of people long-term.
