I don’t think “either side” has been proven correct, if there really is such a side vs side dichotomy....some underestimated and some overestimated. In reality we were, and are, not working with an established and proven data set since its a new virus and modeling is difficult in such scenarios, all the more so when considering a nation so expansive where so many variables exist.
