That’s why it’s better to have good rapport with nurse
And get frequent updates from her/him

Other thing needed is a younger family member getting direct updates rather than grandpa who frequently forgets or misunderstands or can’t hear on the phone all just leading to confusion which then leads to all family being confused which then leads to some angry daughter calling in and berating the staff

So pick one son/daughter and have them be focal point person for the nursing staff. Call 2-3 times a day for updates. Imo
