Wouldn't all the countries with single-payer healthcare be using it then?
And wouldn't the severe cases in Spain, France, and especially in Ecuador be almost zero by now? The fact that those countries still have lots of severe cases show that either countries with little profit motive in their healthcare system aren't using it widely, or that it isn't effective if they are. It squeezes out the chance that big pharma (or Bill Gates, for some reason) is allowing the spread of the virus so they can patent the cure.
