"The survey, conducted by Sermo, a global health care polling company, asked 6,227 physicians in 30 countries to find out what is the most effective against SARS-CoV-2. The poll finds that 37% of those treating patients suffering from the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 rated hydroxychloroquine as the “most effective therapy” out of a list of 15 choices."
Where do I even start to comment on the limited utility of such a study? Again, as I've said repeatedly, this may be part of the eventual treatment for Covid-19. It may have beneficial therapeutic effects. But there is simply no evidence to back up the irresponsible hyperbole surrounding it right now, most critically from our current chief disseminator of irresponsible hyperbole in the Oval Office.
As to "all in" - that's your claim. No country has proclaimed this the miracle cure that Trump has been touting. Desperate doctors and patients are trying anything, and I don't oppose that. I only say let's dial back the irresponsible rhetoric. Like yesterday.
