I respectfully disagree, partially...

Expanding the playoffs to 8 will force BYU to join a conference. The CUSA, MAC, MWC, and Sunbelt and so far beneath the AAC that the AAC, 9 years out of 10, will get the G-5 auto-bid to the CFP. If that is the case, BYU should join the AAC immediately. BYU will never sniff a CFP playoff birth as an indy IMHO.
