current language. They will want the highest rated G5 conference champ in there.

Otherwise, Notre Dame would steal that spot many of the years, which kind of defeats the purpose of the spot.

If BYU could be counted as being eligible for the G5 spot, then great. But I guess that it is more likely that the current language would remain (current used for the NY6 bowls - highest rated G5 conference champ qualifies) and that BYU will be left to fight for one of the 2 at-large spots.
