I grew up on a farm. This was always the time of year we were getting started.
No spring break trips and we didn't take vacations in the summer either.
I think growing up we had one extended family vacation to southern California over the week of Thanksgiving to do Disneyland and Sea World (one day each).
Beyond that, vacations were to visit family in Utah and take my older siblings back and forth to BYU.
