And who has a more personal experience without actually being from that culture?
I lived with several guys that had been Mexican their whole lives and Catholic for the majority of their lives. That is much more information and experience about another culture than most people have. So saying that Utah has a limited understanding of other cultures seems out of reality for me.

This reminds me of a teacher at my wife's school. She always complains about the lack of diversity in her Utah school class. In Mississippi there was so much more diversity. In reality her class in Mississippi had no diversity. 100% of her students were black. Here she has 2 black kids, 1 Japanese, 2 Piute, 3 Hispanics, 1 Polynesian and 17 white kids.
