They refreshed everything in 2019 because 2018 models bombed. Look at TC5000WN
The model I have is AWN432sp113tw04. When I bought in 2017, I asked the delivery guys if these were popular. He was like, "Oh yeah, people love these because they clean like machines from 20 years ago." He said people also get Electroux front loaders (which are expensive).

You might be able to find it on craiglist or offer up or something, but most of us hang on to these because their workhorses. It was discontinued in 2018 for their new models, which instead of an agitator, used drum motion to clean clothes. It bombed. The new inverter drum motion models didn't do as good a job at cleaning. In reality, the only reason customers liked Speed Queen is for the traditional agitator upright models that wash your clothes just like in the olden days. Sure it's a little rougher on the clothes, and sure it's not as eco friendly, but it washes clothes well, unlike some of these new fancy front loaders that end up having the clothes smell like mildew. We had a front loader samsung at our old place and the clothes would smell like mildew all the time. You also had to always worry about leaving the door open and wiping down the rubber seal. Oh and if you didn't do that you had to do a rinse with vinegar or something to get rid of the mold and mildew smell.

With Speed Queen (at least with the agitator models), you never have that issue. Just remember to never use the Normal setting (which was built to comply with government eco friendly standards). Use Heavy Duty.

So because the 2018 bombed so much, Speed Queen released a 2019 machine with the agitator. TC5000WN. So look at getting that one.

Also we have their dryer, which works well, but gets super hot. We run it on delicate and its REALLY hot. Normal heat would burn our clothes. So be aware of that too.

BTW, these are made in the USA and are built like tanks. They a bit more expensive, but for LDS families with kids, I think they're great. They can be a bit rougher on your clothes than front loaders though...probably because they clean properly. Some of our cheaper clothes (like from Old Navy) get worn down faster.
