My post, of course, didn't infer that those schools did that. I merely agreed with the poster that it would help if a school cheated (as some have obviously done over the years). Also obvious, it would be easier to stay in school at academically easier schools.
Thats it. I didn't infer--at all--that those schools you mention did that. So your post is nonsensical.
But BYU is obviously hurt by its Honor Code (that those other schools don't have to deal with) and academically rigorous undergraduate. We lose athletic points every year to both. Unfortunately, while Stanford (as an example) has plenty of academically qualified prospects, BYU sometimes takes a chance on a few kids. I wish we had Stanford's prospect pool but we don't.
And I have already acknowledged BYU's score is unimpressive (to say the least). So relax. We are simply discussing some of the reasons for BYU's low score.
