Pope won this year with 7 seniors signed by Rose
Pope was instrumental in getting Toolson to jump and Yoeli to return, but all 7 were "big time LDS players" signed by Rose. You can criticize Rose for several things, but failure to get big time LDS players is really startlingly bad revisionist history a month after the end of this season.
