Am I too mean? Walking with my 3 yo and a woman walking her barking rat was walking the other direction down the path.
My daughter loves dogs, except small barking ones, exactly like this one. so she was hugging my right leg as we passed. The lady didn't seem to care that her rat was obviously scaring my daughter. As we passed, the rat seemed to jump over at us and I cocked my other leg back to kick the dog into the river when the woman grabbed her dog and hugging it tightly said "Don't kick my dog." in the tone of voice like I was about to hurt her first born child.
I quickly responded "That thing bites my girl and I'm going to rip its throat out."
The woman gasped and had no words as she went by.
So was I too mean?
