rat of a dog. Three year old's don't necessarily get out their calculator and determine the weight ratio of herself to the dog. Which, btw, would be about an 1:5 ratio. If you weigh 200 lbs you ready to have a 40 lb dog come at you?
My guess is that the owner has seen this kind of behavior from her rat for quite a while, yet, continues to go in public where there is close interaction. She thinks she can just reassure them, at the moment, with "oh don't worry, he just likes you" or "don't worry, i've got a good hold on his leash".
Should have said, "that dog bites my dauther, i'm gonna pull your underwear up over your head".
