Administrators make much more than teachers and have a much less impact on students and education in general. Plus, the vast majority of companies and organizations are making cuts, the public sector can as well.... even if it is temporary.

Other cuts: I played school sports and also think that too much is spent on stadiums and gyms. A lot of cash may also be wasted on the schools being built now days.
