Armstrong burned people so brazenly and so consistently, first with the cycling
and then with the Livestrong stuff, that I’m not sure he deserves to be the subject of a redemption story.
He can make amends and people can forgive him and all of that would be great. But I think we should resist the urge to heap all kinds of praise on him again. He’s shown himself to be narcissistic and manipulative, and I’m not sure why people are willing to get duped again.
