If Mac thinks his chances are good at getting a waiver, though — that probably doesn't bode well for us. I'm pretty sure he wants to play point, & there's no way Pope shifts AB to 2 next season. Pope's offense is too controlled to allow for something like that, & AB earned an A+ this season for playing within his role - & sacrificing self for team. Besides, Pope's mentioned that promises have been made to AB about a role increase this season — they were promises that were likely in place even before he signed w us.
