I set up my inlaws house in provo. They had already set up the nighthawk and were having a hard time getting a signal upstairs. It turned out that there were 22 different wifi networks in range, every one of them were using boosters but were all using the default channel on their wifi, (i kid you not 22 networks all trying to share channel 1) Here's the trick, either scan the network to see what channels everyone is using, or just try channel 4. Dont' use the default channel setting. After i changed that we were able to get a clear signal two houses away.
