Would like to hear your opinions on the most effective anti-inflammatories over-the-counter for chronic disc issues. I recognize there are issues long-term. I use these more as a temporary treatment for the occasional severe flare ups. Seems to help.

This is been going on for about 20 years, I know information and medication has changed over time and every doctor has a different opinion it seems.

In other words, are naproxen and ibuprofen the same for anti-inflammation? Are the side effects of taking them regularly similarly bad?
