We had seminary graduation that night. We were driving from downtown SLC to Leatherby’s in Taylorsville to celebrate.
Pulled into the parking lot and kept the radio on. Listened to the last 5 minutes in the parking lot. When Stock hit that’s shot, it felt like the entire parking lot exploded. Cars honking their horns, people getting out and high fiving each other. It was incredible.
Couldn’t wait to get home and watch the highlights on SportsCenter.
