People hop around from job to job hoping the next place will make all of their dreams come true. I've been at the same company the past 10 years. It's a much better company and situation for me now than it was 10 years ago. Instead of jumping from place to place to strike gold, I developed as an employee, I kept my head down, I worked through the ups and downs, and I'm in a much better situation than had I left and bounced around. The same could be said for many of these basketball players. Transferring once is one thing. Bouncing around multiple times says more about the player in my opinion.
