from each of the 3 major credit bureaus. You can only do one from each bureau so I recommend doing it every 4 months from a separate bureau to keep on track of it. annualcreditreport.com is the recommended website from the FTC.

We just went through this. I saw a collections account on Credit Karma under my wife’s name for DirecTV service in FL
