I am a BYU alumnus and fan first but support UNLV with scholarship donor status through my law firm.

I play golf with the play by play announcer for the Running Rebels who Pooh-poohs my view that due to the new stadium, new coach (I believe he signed the number 1 recruiting class in MW), geography, rising academic and research levels, existing relationship city for MBB conf tourney site etc.

So skepticism duly noted, I still think UNLV is more palatable to P12 than BYU will ever be. I think it’s a sleeping giant tbh.
