insatiable appetite of those that would have us believe that we aren't against racism unless we show it in a very defined, prescribed way that perfectly aligns with their narrow definition of how people should combat racism. Norvell apparently thought it was so important to "say something" that he was willing to embellish and lie to prove the point. But retreating into corners and refusing to associate with (or in this case, play with) people that do dumb things like this just fuels the fires of overreaction and outrage. I legitimately fear where the discourse in our country is leading us right now.
