Not sure about the rest of the US, but 9 miles west of Green River to the Colorado/Utah border is painful for me. That

said, not a short distance off of any stretch along that 70 mile stretch of road is some of the coolest things I've ever seen. They truly put the highways in crappy spots. And that's a good thing, it's keeps unnecessary visitors away from the cool stuff.

Highway 191 from Rock Springs to about Pinedale. Closer to rock springs the worst.

Yeah, the true loser is I-80 from Rock Springs to Rawlins. It’s pretty bad when the highlight is Wamsutter

After Farson it gradually gets better. Rock Springs to Farson though is how I picture Hell.
