Bad imo.
None of the stores near me sell the raw ones you cook at home, which are good, instead they all sell the generic white cardboard flour tortillas.
I use Rick bayless' flour tortillas recipe and it works well for my purposes. The cooking/flattening is the time consuming part, but if you have a large griddle that you can cook up multiple at once not really an issue.
I never use lard (wouldn't use it enough to justify buying a large tub) but instead use bacon grease if we recently had bacon, or more likely crisco.
