The first season was amazing and then it got progressively worse. I blame the TV format more than the writers. It’s hard to write a cohesive story when you never know how many seasons you have to write for. They tried to tie it all together at the end, but it didn’t work too well because they’d created too many storylines that were inconsistent with each other.

I hate the TV format for drama when the only thing driving how long the series runs for is viewer ratings. Very, very difficult to write for that format.
