Yah, it’s tough and different everywhere. I moved to Verizon Fios cable for ~$80/month
I was already paying $50 for 300 mbps internet. TV + internet was $129.
And they seem to have been influenced by streaming services, because this package has no added fees, no extra taxes, no RSN fees, no DVR fee. And no contract, so I can cancel whenever.
Maybe packages like this will become more common, idk.

i was out when streaming cost more than the tv portion of my cable bundle which was like $65. I pay an extra $10 or so

Seems expensive. What TV package do you have? I pay $65 now for YTTV and $65 for 1Gbps internet w/ no data caps.
