Not only did Averette confirm this in his interviews, but he's an immediately eligible PG that we desperately need this year. And yet the majority of Portal recruits we went after were NOT immediately eligible. So iows, w Lohner AND Brandon both signed — we ended up w the same number signed if we'd signed someone like Mack.

And we now know we needed to expend Jesse Wade's schollie to get to that mark.

I don't think it's beyond reason that one or two other players might've been put on notice headed into the recruiting season as well.
