with them since I submitted my resume. The call was from the HR rep, asking me if I was still interested, to which I replied that I am. She then asked if I would be available for a call tomorrow with both her and the hiring manager.

I was a bit surprised they wanted to include the hiring manager on the first call I’ll have with them as the usual process is to have the first call be a screen with HR.

Am I wrong in thinking they may be wanting to fill the position quickly, despite the fact the position was posted two months ago?
