I was thinking of Gonzaga when you started the post.
They didn't have one guy who was just way up there. They had a bunch of depth and balance. I thought they'd take a big step back last year but they didn't because of the depth and the way they played, similar to BYU, with great ball movement finding buckets for guys despite not having a go-to high end scorer, and no I'm not counting Petrusev as a high end go to scoring star.

I don't think it will be challenging for BYU to find offense if they continue to play that way. They don't have the big 3 from last year but it's not necessary with good team play. And the depth will give them options. Not only will it make us not have to constantly play guys out of position, but they can rely on others as bench sparks, and also when someone gets in foul trouble.

That being said I think Pope would love for someone to stand out and if someone starts to, he'll let it happen. As long as they can continue to play within the offense. I think we'll have a guy around 15 though. Gonzaga had guys make big jumps from one year to the next. Petrusev, Tillie, Kispert, Ayayi, etc. BYU will have guys do the same. Barcello, Lowell, Harding, should at least be around the 13-15 range.
