Steak, baked potato, red cabbage salad,
second salad with a ranch type dressing, and a very large piece of "Texas" toast. It was at Clearmans Northwoods Inn, in Monrovia, California. Started going there in the 60's up thru the early 90's. It was great!
You waited in the saloon area for a table while piano player played tunes right from the turn of the century. They gave you bowls of pnuts in shell for you to eat and then throw the shells on the floor.
Alot of fun. I guess there are others that now allow shells on the floor, but this seemed pretty unique for 1965.
Anyway, good food, lots of fun.
