Ok, so I am trying to remove some old deck boards that are rotting out. I'm have trouble with some of the old screws that are tooo old and tooo stripped to get out.
Searching on YouTube, the suggestion I saw that looked GREAT was basically a "Hole Saw WITHOUT a pilot drill bit".
Drill AROUND the screws that you can't get out ... then remove the rest of the board, and you have these little plugs around the remaining screws... but at least an inch of screw to work with to remove.
MY Hole saw kit (nothing special) has a central arbor with a fixed drill bit. It won't work ...
this is the closest I have found ...
CAN you buy a hole saw arbor that DOESN'T have a bit?
Out local hardware store as some nice Milwaukee Hole Dozer bits that pretty small (like 5/8 .... I'd love more like 3/8th) ... but I can't see to find a arbor to attach them too that DOES NOT have drill bit built in....
Any thoughts ...
