Make the leading team win it with a final defensive stand.

Not sure exactly how you’d implement the rule. How much time left on the clock before the rule becomes applicable? What’s the required point spread to be applicable? How much continuation do you give after the foul?

I am generally against think-outside-the-box type rule changes. But I like this one. Give the trailing team a chance at the tie. As noted in the video, they’re already at a disadvantage with the defense knowing they only need to guard the three point line. But at least let them have a chance to get the shot off.
