I think there is a huge segment of the population who loves it. I think it's
here to stay. I just didn't connect with it.

Hamilton is probably #2 on my list. Les Miserables (The book and the play) affected me deeply like great art can.

Les Mis is still my #1 also

Hamilton is only 5 years old. 20 years from now it will be in everyone’s Top 3

Not everyone's. 20 years from now I will still have only seen it once.

But you won’t be around in 20 years 😉

I saw Les Miserables in 1985 at Royal Albert Hall. Incredible experience.

I saw it on Broadway right after high school and a BYU grad played Fantine. It was a church history tour and I wonder

100% on Les Mis re: the book. I read the unabridged version many years ago

When I see an opinion I disagree with I'm compelled to share it. I love the musical so much, but just hate the book.

I read it again (listened to it on Audible) last year. I love the book and it's message.

I loved the musical, but the book brings out everything, it is amazing.

This is where I am at. Love Hamilton. But it can't replace Les Mis.

You need Rent, West Side Story, and Fiddler on the roof. Get rid of Hair, Cats, and Joseph.

Rent? That’s not even a top-20

I included rent for how much other people love it, not how much I love it (although I excluded Cats). People

I’ve seen Rent twice and was mad I wasted $ twice. 🤷♂️

I spent real American dollars going to see Cats. It keeps me up at night. Tons of money for 1 good song

Yes. Rent and Cats. Both pretty crappy imo.

It was awesome on broadway. The actor that played Percy was hilarious.

That top 3 is iron clad for me. I'd have a hard time choosing between Les Mis and Hamilton, but LM, Ham, and FotR
