I can understand conferences wanting to make sure all teams follow the same

protocols to limit the spread of the virus. By making the season a closed system, conference-only play limits the interactions as well. I'm disappointed that this season of college football will be so limited, but I think the limitations are reasonable even if I don't complete agree with them.
