The football program is slightly bigger than what you, one individual, wants as a fan.

There are over 100 players who would lose a year of eligibility if you got to make the call. I'm sure they'd rather be playing someone or anyone instead of sitting at home for a year. I'm sure moms and dads and other family members and friends would rather see their loved ones take the field and compete rather than sitting it out because its not exciting enough. I'm sure all the employees and staff members who have worked their tails off over the past year to keep things running as best they could would be thrilled to see everything figuratively flushed down the drain because some random quali-fan doesn't think the level of competition is exciting enough
