Did you have guy lines set up from the rain fly?

I haven’t tested the Big Agnes tent in heavy wind yet, but the REI tent was great in heavy wind but you have to have the guy lined out.

I would just get the biggest one Costco has. They usually have a gimmicky easy setup.

I didn't mean gimmicky in a bad way. My dad bought this giant tent at Costco last year that had some sort of hub system.

I had the guy lines set. The wind would flex the tent to where the poles would come detached from the inside
