about 10 years ago, I honestly mis-hit my iron on #4 short right to the front of the green with the pin all the way on the other side. By the time I got up to the hole to see where it ended up I was surprised to not see it near where I had hit it, instead seeing a ball about 3 ft from the hole. By some miracle I had missed my shot to the perfect location and my ball rolled 50+ feet and stopped 3 feet from the hole.

Like you I have wonderful memories of golf on the Monterrey Peninsula with my Dad and brothers, some of the most memorable days of my life the 3 trips I've taken. I'm not sure I can ever play there with my Dad again but I will always remember :).
