Volkswagen confirmed that the VW Golf SportWagen and the VW Golf Alltrack will be discontinued after the 2019 model year.

While the Crosstrek has the CVT (better for mileage), it uses a boxer motor which is less efficient than an I4.

In daily mixed driving I am right at 30mph in the Crosstrek.

I have a '15 and it gets 30 mpg combined and around ~32-33 mpg at Utah Hwy speed
