In daily mixed driving I am right at 30mph in the Crosstrek.
On the freeway at consistent 65-70mph it gets above 35 mpg with no issue.
That said, 1-2 mpg in either direction shouldn’t make or break a vehicle purchase.

While the Crosstrek has the CVT (better for mileage), it uses a boxer motor which is less efficient than an I4.
