go with a guy who has his own bass boat and is pretty hardcore (competes in professional tournaments, etc.). Fishing out on the California Delta.

My number one goal on this trip is to learn. I've never fished for large mouth. Most of my fishing experience is with trout in the mountains.

Any recommendations of rookie mistakes I should avoid or be aware of?
