Because I thought that was what you were supposed to do. My dad had hobbies. I should have hobbies.
What I learned was that you end up sort of going where your desires take you. That may sound obvious, but it wasn't for me. Now, I love sports. I love my family. I love working in the temple. (I'm not saying that to sound righteous. It just happened to be one of the things I was surprised to find out I really enjoy. It's the biggest way Covid has affected me, personally.) I can't think of much else, to be honest. Those three things are, by far, the biggest things I do when I have a choice about what to do with my time.
Unfortunately, we all have lots of things that we do when we don't have a choice.
