That can be true while players are still undercompensated.
Giving players healthcare coverage for 6 years after they play to make sure injuries from playing are covered and letting them capitalize on their image in school should not be outlandish to anybody.
Nobody who wants a free market should be against a compensation negotiation, especially revolving around being paid what you’re worth

They are already being compensated. It just looks to me like they're trying to renegotiate their contract.

The biggest issue is that their value is being used to pay for the lesser values of the Olympic sports and women’s sport
