One person I know told me he’s talked to several players about it in the past. Idk if these guys talked to Tom but my bet would be they did and even more, I wouldn’t be surprised if they nudged them to go public to apply pressure to the higher ups. If it were up to Tom, we would use our surplus on having incredible facilities/amenities.
Think about it, Chaz is the most vocal. His dad is literally on the Recruiting staff. His job is impacted the most of all the coaches by having crappy facilities. Chaz and the others who commented are always posting pictures from the Ah You house, they’re inseparable and hang out with Chaz dad all the time. You think it hasn’t come up? Of course it has. BYU just doesn’t do anything unless the bad publicity from not doing something will do more harm Than the bad publicity from doing it.
