Depends. In Argentina, you can get up to a 30 day supply of most meds
if you need more than that you would have to bring in a prescription. You can always get an antibiotic but long term medications over 30 days will require a prescription unless you just go to another pharmacy. They do not seem to have the a database good enough to track things like we have here in the U.S. Z-Paks are easy to get by just stopping in to the pharmacy.

As a side note, a favorite prank of some idiot missionaries was to buy Rohypnol (yes, the date rape drug)
