Yeah, our Tomb of the Unknowns represents somewhere between 70k-80K missing or

unidentified soldiers from WWII. When I was in Moscow, I took a tour and our guide told us that the corresponding Soviet monument represents at least 14 million service members. And that doesn't even scratch the surface of total dead in Russia and the Soviet Union.


Although, as dear Vladimir tries to rehabilitate Stalin's reputation, it's important not to forget that Uncle Joe had a hand in killing millions of his own people, and didn't seem to care one bit. But regardless of how history views it, the Soviet casualty numbers during WWII are staggering.
