Lots of things to consider but the OP's point still stands. An estimated
16 million Russians still died bleeding the German War machine. Whatever we gave them lend lease wise was a steal. Russia bled Germany for 4 years before we opened up a second front in 1944. By 1945 it was over. This takes nothing away from America's contributions and sacrifice.
